Patti Stanger Offends Gays & Jews but Doesn’t Surprise Her Fans

Patti Stanger, from “The Millionaire Matchmaker” always says what’s on her mind and last night was no different.

Andy Cohen (the man behind Bravo) had Patti on the show “Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live” and her answering questions to viewers who called in.

What did Patti Stanger say that got everybody crazy?

She made basically made two statements about Jewish men and gay men that would be brushed off, if you were watching her show.

She said that gay men have issues with monogamy and that Jewish men lie.

This created an uproar and Stanger took to twitter and gave a very Patti like, half assed apology,

“Attn male Gays: I support you & my comment on WWHL was to a LA guy who can’t find commitment, So sorry—didn’t mean to offend anyone. Love you all. X0”

Bravo, who I have to think has a huge gay following backed a more formal apology released to GLAAD in efforts to control the damage.

“I am so sorry.  I did not mean to offend anyone with my comments last night on Watch What Happens Live,”

The network followed with

“Bravo regrets the comments expressed by Patti Stanger on Watch What Happens Live last night. Her comments are not representative of the network’s beliefs and opinions. We apologize for the offense it caused.”

Part of Patti’s appeal is her ability to keep it real, as she always does on her show.  This time was no different.  Her true fans weren’t surprised nor offended by the comments.  Real recognize Real.
