See Chris Brown in “Battle of The Year Trailer”…..or Not.
I’m not too sure what to say about this trailer. I think this battle movie genre has a market, it’s a niche that needs to be filled, and I guess if you are going to go cheesy why not use “King Cheese” and get Chris Brown. I guess it’s not different then getting Marcus Houston and Omarian for “You Got Served”.
As you can see from the trailer, Chris Brown has a huge role in this film. He’s actually one of the main characters. The film is supposedly based off a true story and documentary entitled Planet B-Boy. The general plot is a Basketball coach, played by Josh Holloway, is asked to coach dancers to win an international dance competition. Oh wait….isn’t that the same for all dance movies.
Battle of the Year is scheduled to be released in theaters January 25, 2013. …..and it’s in 3D!!!!
