Terrence Howard’s Divorce Hearing Is Messy: Drugs, Violence And Porn…Oh My!
Empire star Terrence Howard needs to stay away from women. Last month, he secretly divorced for the third time. Legal papers obtained by the New York Daily News revealed that Mira Pak started divorce proceedings back in March while she was pregnant.
The baby was born in May, and at the time, Howard was still trying to paint the “happy marriage” picture. He told reporters that he was doing his share of baby night duty. But we know from the divorce papers that they had been living separately since August.
But surprisingly, the title you see up there is not even about Howard’s most recent divorce. Howard’s 13-month marriage to his second wife, Michelle Ghent, is still haunting him. Ghent and Howard have been in one incredible battle for at least two years now. Most recently, fighting over spousal support payments.
After Howard’s success with Empire, Ghent now believes she deserves more money. She claims the $5,800 monthly just isn’t enough. As for Howard? Well, he’s letting everything out. He’s not holding back.
He claims he only agreed to the settlement because he was blackmailed by Ghent. She allegedly threatened to release naked photos and videos of him. In addition to the sex tape scandal, Howard claims he was suicidal during the relationship. In 2009, Howard wrote this in a text message to his ex-wife…
I’m sitting here at lunch hoping you’ll call … every minute of every day I feel like putting an end to this miserable existence … every lie I’ve told to you are equal in my mind to putting bullets into a clip and firing them at my future. … I am devastated by my stupidity.
He also revealed that the only time they were happy together was when they were doing drugs. Weed, cocaine and ecstasy. In addition to the drugs, they also watched a lot of porn together. But now that they’re not together, Howard claims he’s free, “I refuse to get high, I refuse to watch porn.”
