What The Heck? Is Starbucks Serving Sizzurp? Find Out What’s Inside This Purple Drink And How You Can Get It!

If you’ve been following the #Starbucks tag on Instagram, you might have already seen people holding up their Purple Drinks. At first, you might think, “Is Lil’ Wayne working at Starbucks now?” That’s a legit question. He does have a lot of medical issues, and I hear Starbucks has a decent insurance plan for their employees.

But no, we did a little digging and this Willy Wonka-looking drink does not contain any cough syrup. If you want to order this drink yourself, you need to walk inside Starbucks and order passion iced tea with soy milk, vanilla syrup and blackberries.

Surprisingly, people aren’t just ordering this drink because it looks good on their Instagram page. According to the users who have tried it, it’s actually really delicious. Some even claim it’s better than the “Pink Drink” that went viral earlier this month, which contains strawberry acai refresher and coconut milk.

BUT JUST A WARNING BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR LIFE SAVING$ (LAWL) ON THIS PURPLE DRINK!

It might not look as bright when you purchase it. Those Instagram filters have too much power. This is what the drink might look like before you promote your fanciful filtered photos on Instagram.

As you can see, it still looks pretty neat; however, it doesn’t look as delightful. We thought you should know before dropping a $20 on it.

To be honest, I’m not that impressed. Purple drinks? Pink drinks? Old news, Starbucks. #PeptoBismolDidItFirst
