REPORT: Richard Simmons Is Currently In The Hospital For Severe Indigestion…Seriously!

You have probably been hearing Richard Simmons’ name in the news a lot lately, thanks to the incredibly intrusive podcast, Missing Richard Simmons. The podcast tries to figure out what happened to the 68-year-old fitness guru, who at one point in his life was open to the public. He even went outside his home in Los Angeles to greet people when a tour bus would stop by.

But then all that stopped. He stopped going out, he put an end to his fitness class, and stopped talking to most of his friends.

That’s when people started to spread rumors. Those rumors being that his housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, is holding him hostage in his mansion. There was also a rumor claiming Simmons was transitioning to be a woman.

Both of those rumors have been denied by Simmons’ camp, and Richard himself even called into the Today Show to dispel the rumors…

“No one is holding me in my house as a hostage. You know, I do what I want to do as I’ve always done, so people should sort of just believe what I have to say because, like, I’m Richard Simmons! Right now, I just sort of want to take care of me. I just really don’t want to do anything. I don’t want to be traveling anymore… it’s taken a toll on me.”

Now that you’re updated on the life of Richard, we got some breaking news to share with you. Simmons was hospitalized in California for severe indigestion.

His rep, Michael Catalano, released a statement on the incident…

“Richard Simmons was hospitalized on Monday at an undisclosed location in California. After a few days of battling severe indigestion and discomfort while eating, we agreed it was best for him to seek treatment.”

The good news is that he’s expected to make a full recovery, and he should be released in a day or two. You have to wonder if his team was worried he might have been having a heart attack. People mistake indigestion for heart troubles all the time.

So it might sound silly that Simmons went to the hospital for indigestion, but they were probably just being extra cautious.
