Sharon Osbourne Is Eating A Big Bowl Of Crow, Backtracks On The Kim Kardashian Comments After Being Put In Her Place By Kim Herself

Last week, we told you that we were proud of Sharon Osbourne for standing by her comments on Kim Kardashian even though she was getting slammed by Kim fans online. It all started when she allegedly called Kim a ‘ho’ during an interview, and then in a separate interview, she talked about how Kim ain’t no feminist just because she posts nude photos online.

“I don’t think what she does equals feminism. Yes, she’s done it on her own. Yes, she doesn’t rely on a man for her living. She makes more than [enough], a terrific career. But I don’t think because you bare your body that makes you a feminist.”

It took a few days for Kim to respond, but she finally did, and she came out hitting hard. In an interview with E! News, the 36-year-old reality star said Sharon sounded really stupid.

“First of all, I think she said I said a quote about, ‘I post nude photos in the name of feminism.’ Never said that. So I think when people misquote you and then comment, it just sounds ridiculous. I post nude photos because I like how I look and I feel proud when I’ve lost all this baby weight and I post it because I feel like posting it and I feel powerful. So she kind of misquoted me on that and I thought it just looked really, like stupid.”

After hearing Kim’s response, Sharon had to address the comments once again. On Monday’s episode of The Talk, Sharon tried to shift the blame to a reporter.

“It’s so ridiculous how these things happen… I was doing this interview, and … (the reporter) said to me ‘have you heard that Kim Kardashian has come out as a feminist,’ She asked my opinion and I gave it. It wasn’t rude, it wasn’t … whatever (Kim) does, it’s showing her body. Which shows that she’s a strong grounded woman and she’s not ashamed of her body, she wants to show it, which is her business, but it doesn’t make you a feminist. It got misquoted, when it came out, my response, and Kim came back and said ‘I never said I was a feminist … you’re responding to something I never said.’”

It’s possible the reporter did ask her a question that wasn’t even based in reality, which is a super crappy thing to do, but Sharon needs to be smarter about these things. Don’t trust anyone. If you haven’t heard Kim say those words yourself, then don’t even comment on the subject because you have no idea if it’s true or not.
