Selena Gomez Goes Public Again After Making Her Instagram Private For 24 Hours, Find Out The Odd Message She Posted Before Going Private
Well, this is strange. Yesterday Selena Gomez, the most-followed person on Instagram, made her account private. This means if you were already following the singer, you didn’t notice much of a difference, but if you were a lurker, well you were locked out of her account.
Before going private, Gomez posted a cryptic message to her Instagram Story. She posted a screenshot of her Billboard feature, and wrote,
“Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them into my home. That is so hurtful. The most ‘ridiculous’ part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.”
The portion of the article she screencapped featured her talking about a giant teddy bear she keeps inside her home.
“There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home. ‘I know, I know,’ says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn’t quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. ‘It was a gift, and at first I thought, This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.’ But Gomez, 25, hasn’t let go of it — yet.”
Strange, right? Nothing stands out in that quote. I mean, is she upset with the Billboard writer for misquoting her? If so, what part was misquoted? And why did it mean so much to Gomez?
Or maybe it doesn’t have anything to do with Billboard. Perhaps the message was for whoever gave her that teddy bear. In any event, her Instagram account is public once again, so it looks like everything is all good.
Hopefully this isn’t a sign of trouble in paradise with Justin Bieber already. We know how tumultuous their relationship has been in the past.
