Tim McGraw Collapses On Stage During Concert In Ireland, Faith Hill Jumps On Stage To Let Audience Know The Show Is Over (VIDEO)
At 50-years-old, Tim McGraw appears to be in great shape, as you can see from the photo above. The dude is ripped, but even healthy people have bad days.
The country music superstar was performing in Dublin, Ireland, on Sunday night with his wife Faith Hill. After his performance of ‘Humble & Kind’ McGraw dropped to his knees and took a seat on the floor.
Those in the audience thought he was just taking in the applause, but then they realized the situation was more serious:
“I thought he was taking in the applause while sitting down after singing ‘Humble and Kind.’ But when a spotlight was switched on him, he was slumped on his knees on the left hand side of the stage. The light was quickly turned off and you could see his crew helping him off—and the band ran over as well.”
20 minutes later, Hill walked on the stage to let fans know the concert would be ending, “He’s been super dehydrated. I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out onstage.”
She did perform a sweet rendition of ‘What a Friend We Have in Jesus’ before the lights went out and the audience went home. A rep for McGraw told E! News the following…
“Tim McGraw was suffering from dehydration in Dublin this evening at the C2C show. He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine. He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.”
The good news is he’ll have plenty of time to rest. His next concert is scheduled for May 31 in Richmond, VA.
You know, that seems to happen a lot with performers, their bodies just give out on that final tour date. They’re so close to the finish line. I have to imagine it’s like running a marathon.
