They Got Morgan Freeman: Actor Is Being Accused Of Sexual Harassment By At Least Eight Women, Get The Details Inside…IT DOESN’T LOOK GOOD!
This one shouldn’t surprise you. Morgan Freeman has always given off a bit of a creepy old man vibe, and now at least eight women are coming forward accusing him of sexual harassment.
One of the allegations comes from a production assistant who worked on Freeman’s movie “Going In Style,” in 2015. She told CNN that the 80-year-old actor repeatedly tried to lift up her skirt to see if she was wearing any underwear.
Co-star Alan Arkin reportedly saw him doing it once and told him to stop. Another woman who worked with Freeman on a different film claims he constantly made inappropriate comments about her body. This victim claims every woman on set knew to cover up when they were around Freeman.
“CNN reporter Chloe Melas said she too was subject to Freeman’s misconduct … when she was 6 months pregnant and interviewing him during a media junket. Melas claims Freeman told her she looked ripe, and repeatedly insinuated he wished he’d been there when she got pregnant.”
In total, CNN talked to 16 people. 8 of those people had been harassed by Freeman and the other 8 reportedly witnessed Freeman’s misconduct.
Freeman has responded to the allegations with the classic, “I didn’t INTENTIONALLY mean to make anyone uncomfortable”
“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”
That excuse just doesn’t work anymore. You can’t lift up someone’s skirt and then be like, “Wait, whaaat? That makes you uncomfortable?” OF COURSE IT DOES!
