UPDATE: Post Malone’s Private Jet Is Set To Make An Emergency Landing After Tires Blow Off During Takeoff
12:53 PM PT: The plane has landed safely at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, New York. It appeared to be a pretty uneventful landing, so we imagine everyone is safe and uninjured; however, there are a lot of emergency vehicles surrounding the plane. We assume that’s just protocol, though.
ORIGINAL STORY BELOW…
According to multiple sources, Post Malone is currently onboard a plane that is set to make an emergency landing after two of the plane’s tires blew off during takeoff.
“Malone and his team left from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey Tuesday headed to London. A law enforcement source at Teterboro tells us the private plane’s tires blew off during takeoff and the pilot circled back around to perform an emergency landing.”
The pilot reported the incident to air traffic control and asked for permission to circle above. Air traffic control instructed him to continue flight to Massachusetts in order to burn more fuel for a safer (possible) crash landing.
That is where we stand right now. There are reportedly 16 people on the plane. As some of you may know, Post performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last night with 21 Savage and Aerosmith, which we’re sure was a dream come true for him.
Emergency crews are waiting for the plane in Teterboro for when it lands. No word on when the landing is scheduled to take place, but we will update this post once it does.
For now, watch Post’s performance last night, ’cause why not?
