Floyd Mayweather Is Up For Boxing UFC Star Khabib Nurmagomedov, Wants 9-Figure Payday (VIDEO)
We were all waiting for a rematch between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, but it looks like Conor might be old news now.
The focus is on another UFC fighter named Khabib Nurmagomedov. As most of you know, Khabib dominated Conor at UFC 229, and then went after his team outside the Octagon. It was quite the show and it put Khabib’s name in the headlines.
And now it looks like he is first in line to take on Floyd Mayweather. He called out Mayweather and even talked a little smack, saying he was able to put Conor down on the ground…why couldn’t Floyd do the same during their match?
Floyd laughed off the comment, “So, Khabib…you got my leftovers. Whoopy-do.”
He did say he’d be willing to fight Khabib, though. He told TMZ Sports that he doesn’t know what’s happening on Khabib’s end, “But, on my end, we can make it happen.”
Floyd says it would have to be a boxing match, ’cause Khabib is the one who called him out, so he has to enter Floyd’s world. But we all know the real reason is because it just wouldn’t be a fair fight.
Floyd is the best boxer in the world, no doubt about it; however, he wouldn’t win inside the Octagon simply because more is allowed. You have to train in multiple fighting techniques to dominate the Octagon.
In any event, Floyd is hoping to land a 9-figure payday for this fight. He wants to make a $100 million more than he made during the Conor fight.
And don’t think this is all talk from Floyd. The dude loves money, and there is no way he’d turn down that $$$.
He’s enjoying the high life too much to go broke now!
