Tom Brady Screams At His Teammates ‘Do Your Job!” During Loss To The Jaguars (VIDEO)
I don’t watch a lot of football, mainly because I don’t want to watch people severely damage their brain for a paycheck, but occasionally something happens and you just can’t look away.
On Sunday (Sept 16) Tom Brady and the rest of the New England Patriots had a bad day on the field. They lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-20, and Brady was not happy about it.
When they fell two touchdowns behind earlier in the game, Brady was seen sitting on the bench yelling at his teammates, “Do your job!” he screamed multiple times. He pointed a finger to his head as he was screaming. Apparently, it’s the team slogan, which was coined in the ’90s and is used a lot by Bill Belichick.
After Brady screamed at his teammates, the offensive coordinator screamed at them some more, just in case they didn’t get the point. I’m not sure why the angry screaming is necessary, but hey…whatever works.
Brady talked to reporters after the game and said the entire team had a bad day…
“You have a bad day against a good team. That’s a recipe for losing. We certainly had a bad day. You’ve got to learn from bad days. Things just don’t magically happen. You’ve got to make them happen. All of us have to have more urgency to do things right more often over the course of practices and games, and then it’s a matter of us going out and executing. But it was us. First couple of drives, it was us.”
Don’t worry. You’ll get ’em next time, champ. In the meantime, keep the “do your job!” screaming on the field, ’cause if you yell at your waiter like that…there might be some trouble.
