Miley Cyrus’ Malibu House Has Burned Down In The Wildfires, She Reacts On Twitter
Last week was not a good week for California. From mass shootings to wildfires, California was seeing a little about of everything hell has to offer.
One of the wildfires hit the Malibu area, and several celebrities lost their homes, including Miley Cyrus. The 25-year-old singer had a $2.5 million four-bedroom home in Malibu with her fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Sadly that home, which probably inspired her hit ‘Malibu’ song, burned down in the wildfire. She went on her Twitter account to let her fans know she is okay, and that all her animals got out safely…
“I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely and that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family and friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and L.A. County Sheriff’s department!”
Obviously, Miley wasn’t the only celeb to lose a home. Neil Young, Gerard Butler and Robin Thicke also saw their homes burn down in the fire.
Last update we heard on Sunday night, the fire had spread to 85,000 acres and is about 15% contained. They were beginning to get a handle on it on Sunday, but winds were expected to pick up today (Monday) so we’ll see what happens.
