Kodak Black In Some Trouble After Police Determine Fingerprints Linked To March Shooting Are His!
Kodak Black might be Kodak Orange pretty soon. According to a new report from TMZ, federal prosecutors are building a pretty solid case against the 21-year-old rapper. They claim fingerprints, a Porsche rental car and a gun are connected to his name in connection with a shooting that went down in March.
Prosecutors say Kodak bought 3 weapons and more than 100 rounds of ammo back in February from Lou’s Police Distributors — a federal firearms licensee in Hialeah, Florida. That purchase, prosecutors allege, was facilitated after Kodak lied on a January gun application.
On March 7, prosecutors say, a Porsche Panamera rented by Kodak drove to Golden Acres — a neighborhood in Pompano Beach where he grew up — and fired away. The feds say the intended target was a rival rapper, who was not hit but whose house — filled with kids — was littered with bullets. No one was hit.
Police responded to the scene and found several castings scattered around. They also found the MPX K that Kodak bought the month prior.
In addition to finding a gun with his prints on it, they also found the abandoned Porsche 14 miles away from the scene. The documents also claim witnesses saw Kodak at the scene of the shooting, which is just another knock against the rapper.
It’s important to note that Kodak has not been charged with anything yet; however that will likely change. This is all being brought up again because Kodak was arrested back on May 11 before his Rolling Loud Set. He was sent to jail on federal gun charges for lying on two gun applications.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges, but if he’s convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison, and that’s even before these other charges might hit him!
