Amanda Bynes Posts Rare Candid Video, Apologizes For Calling People Ugly In The Past

Amanda Bynes continues to make progress in her recovery from a severe mental breakdown. As most of you know, the former child star went off the deep end several years ago.

She was on Twitter throwing insults out left and right, calling several people ugly and just saying bizarre things in general.

Now she’s in a better place, and in a rare candid video with her fiance, Paul Michael, Bynes apologized for her behavior in the past…

I just wanted to post a video to say I’m sorry to everybody whom I called ugly on Twitter. I was feeling so ugly at the time, and it was really hard for me to express myself at the time because I was so drugged out.

Now I’ve remained sober for over a year — same with Paul — and I just want to let you know that I love you guys and I’m so happy now. I feel like I got what’s mine, and that is Paul.

As you can tell, she’s all about this Paul dude right now. According to the reports, this Paul character bought her a $49 engagement ring off Amazon and proposed recently.

They met in AA and have only been dating for a few months, but Bynes believes she is truly in love. Sources say Paul does not have a job at the moment, and her family believes he’s simply a rebound. In fact, insiders say they will block their marriage.

And yes, they have the power to do that…

Amanda’s mother is her conservator, and we’re told Amanda cannot get married without her conservator’s consent. Our sources say the family feels it’s not in her best interest to be married — they haven’t met Paul — so a wedding ain’t happening.

I mean, it’s unfortunate that Bynes lost that bit of freedom she had, but I think it’s a good thing. She might be in a better place now, but she’s not all there yet. Typically when people fall so fast and hard, it’s a sign that other sh*t is going on.

At least now she can’t get married and lose half her sh*t to Paul.
