Selena Gomez Drops Bonus Single ‘Feel Me’ Is It About A Cheating Ex?
Selena Gomez gave her fans a special treat this week by releasing a bonus track titled ‘Feel Me‘ on her latest album, Rare.
Apparently, true fans of Gomez have been waiting for this track since 2016 when she debuted it exclusively on her Revival Tour. Her fans loved it, but for some reason, she held the song back for a few years.
This song is once again about an ex-boyfriend doing her wrong, and it appears to be about Justin Bieber. We only say that because it was written before she had her fling with The Weeknd, and Bieber was her only other serious relationship.
In the song, Gomez talks about how she was always faithful, hinting that her partner may not have been…
No one love you like I love ya / never cheat, never lie. Never put no one above ya / I gave you space and time. Every time your lips touch another / I want you to feel me / I want you to feel me.
No word on if Bieber is feeling Gomez every time he kisses his wife Hailey Bieber, but we’ll keep you posted.
For what it’s worth, it sounds like Bieber and Selena’s relationship was as toxic as it looked from the outside. In a recent interview, Gomez opened up about how she was a victim of emotional abuse.
I’ve found the strength in it. It’s dangerous to stay in a victim mentality. And I’m not being disrespectful, I do feel I was a victim to certain abuse.
I think that it’s something that — I had to find a way to understand it as an adult. And I had to understand the choices I was making.
But hey, look at her now…
