Oprah Winfrey Says Stedman Graham Is Sleeping Far Away In The Guest House During Coronavirus Pandemic

Today @oprah joined @ariannagab for an Instagram Live to fill us in on what she’s doing while she’s social distancing—and just like the rest of us, it’s made up of reading, binge-watching, and pancakes. But there was one person missing: @stedmangraham. Although he does not have the virus, the couple decided that Stedman should quarantine separately in the guest house after several recent flights and some business travel. We’re happy both Lady O and Gentleman Graham are both safe 🙏🏽 Tap the link in our bio for more!
During this time of social distancing, Oprah Winfrey is taking the precautions very seriously. You see, late last year the 66-year-old talk show host had pneumonia, and just a couple weeks ago, she was taking antibiotics for a bronchial infection.
So yeah, she’s pretty damn high risk, which means she’s hiding out inside her mansion until all this is over with. But her, uh, spouse(?) Stedman Graham was not taking this virus as seriously as her.
He just recently returned from a business trip, and Oprah told him that he’s not getting close to her until 14 days have passed.
The procedure is you ain’t coming and sleeping in my bed. Literally…he goes, ‘I’m not?’ I go, ‘Oh, no no no no. It doesn’t work that way. Have you not been paying attention to the news? Social distancing doesn’t mean you’re going to sleep in the bed with the person when you just got off American Airlines….We cannot play those game. We’re taking it very seriously.
Oprah says Stedman isn’t upset, which makes sense. We’re sure he gets pushed out into the guesthouse at least once every month when Gayle comes over.
Oprah says she leaves him meals outside the door and that they have chats through the door as well.
Beyond that, how has she been staying business? Well, much like we’ve all been. She reads, watches movies/shows, talks with family, and cooks pancakes.
I’m never bored because I always have myself. I never feel alone, have never felt alone, because I just love being with myself. So, this is more time to be with myself without the guilt—because usually it’s like you’re with yourself but everybody else wants you to be somewhere else. There’s nowhere to be.
