Bradley Cooper Hasn’t Left The House In Months, Trying To Take Care Of His 80-Year-Old Mother
Bradley Cooper is doing everything he can to make sure his mother is safe during the pandemic. During a recent interview with (you guessed it!) Interview magazine, Cooper revealed he hasn’t left his house in months.
Why? Because he’s taking care of his 80-year-old mother, and he can’t risk giving her the virus.
I’m with my daughter [Lea De Seine] and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house. My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anybody in the house. And I can’t leave the house, because if she gets it, it’s over.
Of course, extreme quarantining probably isn’t too bad when you’re a multimillionaire. Cooper revealed they have a nice backyard, so they’ve been able to get fresh air when needed.
We live in a little townhouse, thankfully there’s a backyard. I’m running a one-man preschool. We get up, we do swim class in the bathtub.
But still, as we’ve heard from NBA players inside the bubble, being trapped anywhere (even a fancy townhouse) can damage your mental health. Humans are not designed to be trapped. To be separated from each other…it’s not a good look for us.
The good news is that this interview was apparently conducted a month or so ago, because here recently, Cooper has been out and about. He was spotted hanging with Jennifer Garner on the beach back in early August, and he was also seen filming a few scenes for an upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson film.
Looks like real life came knocking and he said, “Hey, mom…I love you, but I gotta go.” I’m sure she has a team of nurses looking after her.
