Demi Lovato And Fiancé Max Ehrich Split Just Two Months After Engagement Announcement
It looks like another heartbreak is in store for Demi Lovato. Back in March, it was confirmed that Lovato was dating actor/singer Max Ehrich. Their relationship moved quickly in this COVID-19 quarantine, and just two months ago they announced their engagement.
But now, it looks like their romance has died. On Thursday, the 28-year-old singer posted a clip on her Instagram Stories wearing a “dogs over people” t-shirt, and most noticeably, she was not wearing her ring.
It was then later confirmed by multiple sources that Lovato and Ehrich had split. According to some insiders, Lovato was starting to get the impression that Ehrich was using her to boost his career.
In the beginning, Max was super careful about self-promotion [and] things with his career, but once they got engaged, he really hit the gas pedal and wanted to make the most out of his career opportunities. He felt more comfortable doing so after they were fiancés and had a little bit more of a leg up. Those close to them were skeptical about their relationship and the longevity of it
I could certainly see something like that happening, but at the same time, why did he feel the need to ask for her hand in marriage? Damn. That’s cold.
Hopefully Lovato is in a better headspace during this split. As most of you probably know, when she split with her longtime love Wilmer Valderrama, she turned to drugs and alcohol and suffered an overdose.
In her recent documentary (which you can watch on YouTube) Lovato talked about how Wilmer will always have a special place in her heart. She’s never fully gotten over him.
So who knows…maybe they’ll find each other again?
