Remember Freddie From iCarly? Well, He’s Now A Family Man And Expecting Baby No. 2!

Depending on your age, you may have been a huge fan of the Nickelodeon series iCarly. The show premiered back in 2007 and didn’t end until 2012, after six successful seasons. It was one of the network’s most popular shows.

And one of the most beloved characters from the show was Freddie Benson, played by Nathan Kress.

You might be wondering what Kress is doing now, and you’ll be happy to know he has a beautiful family. On Wednesday (Oct 21) Kress announced that he and his wife (London) are expecting their second baby together. Kress and London welcomed their first baby (Rosie) together in 2017.

Absolutely thrilled to announce that Baby Girl No. 2 is well on the way!! After multiple previous miscarriages, we can thankfully report that mom and baby are doing perfectly so far. Yet another reason to be excited for 2021!!!

His iCarly co-star Jennette McCurdy commented on the post, “You guys! Congratulations!” so it appears the cast has remained friends with each other, even eight years later.

London went on her own social media account to announce the baby news…

Our newest Baby Kress — After multiple miscarriages, you have been so carefully and specifically chosen. It is YOU. NOW. We are over the sun, moon and stars excited to meet you! You were the size of an apple in these photos taken a couple weeks ago, and we are not taking for granted each week that you continue to grow. (It’s amazing we’re almost halfway through the pregnancy!) We know nothing is ever certain, but what is certain is that no matter what, you are being fully celebrated by mommy, daddy and your big sister Rosie!

By the way, Kress’ acting career has obviously slowed down since his starring role in iCarly, but he’s still getting work in Hollywood. He’s directed several episodes of the tv series ‘Henry Danger‘ and has done some voice work as recently as 2020.

Congrats to the happy family!
