Cardi B In Trouble On Twitter Again After Asking Fans If She Should Buy An $88,000 Purse

Cardi B is either a professional troll or incredibly dumb. It feels like every week she’s saying something stupid on Twitter and getting slammed for it.

The most recent hiccup came on Sunday (Dec. 6) when she tweeted to her followers, asking them if she should buy an $88,000 purse, “Omgggg it’s tempting” she followed up.

It didn’t take long for the critics to come jumping in. Many people reminded her that most people are struggling so much right now. Most people are worried about having enough money to put food on the table, and here she is debating on whether or not she should spend nearly $90,000 on a f**king purse!

I mean, the majority of Americans don’t even make $90,000 a year! And here she is spending that much on a….PURSE! That’s the sh*t people don’t understand when we talk about the class divide. And Cardi ain’t even THAT rich compared to some of the billionaires out there. She’s not even the real problem.

Anyway, after taking some heat, Cardi battled back, talking about how her brand Fashion Nova donated $1 million to help those affected by COVID-19, likely resulting in a huge tax break for the company, but hey…charity is charity.

She also claims she gave $1 million to fans through Cash App two months ago. Oh, and she’s been trying to help out all her aunts and cousins.

Also I got 7 uncles an 3 aunts on my daddy side,9 aunts and 3 uncles on my momma side a whole bunch of cousins I had to help cause of the pandemic. If I want to splurge I can with out yall asking for hand outs like me and my husband don’t do so. Thank you.

She then instructed people to drop their receipts for any charities or foundations they’re donating to. She promised to match their donation to the same charity, “Let’s match energy,” she tweeted.

But even after all that, she ended the tweet-a-thon by saying, “Definitely buying the bag now. Sooooooo……do ya want me to show ya the purse?”

And that’s what you expect from Cardi. I think the people getting upset expect too much from celebrities. Social media has tricked people into thinking these people are their friends. They ain’t. Not even close.
