Dylan Sprouse Is Returning To Television In First Major Role Since ‘Suite Life’
Well, it looks like the Sprouse bros are back! Cole Sprouse has been back for a while. He’s been in a starring role on ‘Riverdale‘ since 2017.
But his twin brother Dylan hasn’t been as quick to return to the acting world. He’s been in a few indie productions, but nothing major. For the most part, he’s been living in New York, graduating college, and opening up his own brewery in Brooklyn.
He’s made a name for himself outside of the acting world, and apparently that’s all he needed, because now he’s returning to Hollywood.
According to a new report, the former ‘Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ actor has signed on to star in Mindy Kaling’s upcoming HBO Max comedy series, The Sex Lives of College Girls.
He will be joining Amrit Kaur, Pauline Chalamet (Timothee’s sister) Renee Rapp and Alyah Chanelle Scott.
The series takes place at Essex College, a fancy university in New England, and follows four female roommates who all have interactions with Dylan’s character, Nico, a junior at the school. Chalamet is set to play Kimberly, the valedictorian of her working-class high school in Arizona while Kaur will play Bela, the class clown from northern New Jersey. Meanwhile, Rapp will play Leighton, who fits right into Essex’s posh society, and Scott will play Whitney, a rising soccer star.
Sounds like an interesting project, especially coming from Mindy Kaling.
As for Dylan, he went on his Instagram account to let his fans know about the big move…
