AOC Says She Thought She Was Going To Die During Attack On Capitol, Says Republicans Helped Rioters!
Watching last week’s insurrection on the television from the safety of your own home is one thing, but actually being inside the capitol while it was happening? That’s another thing.
And then being Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Republican’s most hated villain) inside the capitol? THAT’S ANOTHER ANOTHER THING.
AOC went on her Instagram Live this week to talk to her followers about just how close she came to dying last week.
I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to die. I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive.
She says that she can’t give out details at the moment because of security reasons, but you can hear the fear in her voice. You can tell this was a pretty traumatizing moment.
AOC also accused some Republicans of helping the rioters navigate their way through the building…
It is not an exaggeration to say that many, many members of the House were nearly assassinated. There were QAnon and white supremacist sympathizers, and frankly white supremacist members of Congress, in that extraction point who I have felt would disclose my location and would create opportunities to allow me to be hurt, kidnapped, et cetera.
In the Instagram Live session, she calls out Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley by name. She called on them to “get out” and resign, but of course, they’re not going to do that.
AOC says a lot of interesting things in the video below, so I suggest you take the time to watch it all. They will be writing about this event in the history books.
