Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Spill All Kinds Of Tea In Shocking Interview With Oprah

We all know racism is alive and well here in the states, but it’s also alive and well in other parts of the world too.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah in a two hour long interview on Sunday night, and the tea that was spilled was scorching hot. The interview started out with just Markle and Oprah.

According to Markle, the Royal Family started treated her differently when they found out she was pregnant. That’s when the “institution” made it clear that their newborn son wouldn’t be given security or an official title within the family.

Markle also revealed that there were several conversations about how dark the baby’s skin might be.

We have in tandem the conversation of, ‘He won’t be given security. He’s not going to be given a title.’ And also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.

Oprah was shocked by this revelation and tried to get Markle to say who the conversation was with, but Markle refused to say. Oprah later asked Harry the same thing, and he said he’d never reveal who asked those questions.

In addition to the blatant racism, the Royal Family refused to protect Markle from the horrible press. Markle was getting blasted in the tabloids. They were pushing all kinds of crazy theories, and most of them painted Markle in a very negative light.

All the stress, the feeling of being not welcomed, the incredible amount of hate, and the fact that she was pregnant, led Markle into a major state of depression. She revealed to Oprah that she was suicidal. She was having suicidal thoughts constantly, to the point where she didn’t feel comfortable being left alone.

She asked the institution for help, but they turned her down.

I said that I’ve never felt this way before, and I need to go somewhere. And I was told that I couldn’t, that it wouldn’t be good for the institution. I share this because there’s so many people who are afraid to voice that they need help. And I know, personally, how hard it is to not just voice it, but when you voice it, to be told no.

All this factored in to their decision to leave. The interview is really captivating and you can see how much Harry and Meghan love each other.

You can also see how painful it is for Harry, who is having to deal with the fact that his relationship with his family will never be the same.
