Kim Kardashian Is Officially A Billionaire, Get The Details Inside!
Kylie Jenner is no longer the only billionaire in her family. It was reported this week that Kim Kardashian is now officially a billionaire.
This news coming from Forbes, who placed her on their World’s Billionaires List on Tuesday, April 6. A large portion of her wealth comes from the success of KKW Beauty and Skims.
According to Forbes, which noted that Kardashian also cashes in for KUWTK, endorsement deals and other investments, the Selfish author’s net worth increased after she sold 20 percent of KKW Beauty to Coty for $200 million in 2020.
So basically, her net worth skyrocketed from $780 million in October 2020, to just over $1 billion now in April 2021.
No word on if they will slap the “self-made” title on Kim. As you probably remember, when they announced that Kylie was a billionaire, people were outraged that they classified her as a self-made billionaire.
At the time, Kim defended her younger sister…
I really didn’t get it, because she is ‘self-made’ — we are all ‘self-made.’ What, because we came from a family that has had success? To me, that doesn’t really make sense. I know so many people like that [who] haven’t turned out to be as successful as Kylie. If anything, I’ve seen the complete opposite.
Uh, I mean…maybe it doesn’t make sense to you because you’re dumb? Just a thought. I don’t know.
If you can’t understand how coming from an already privileged family sets you up for success, then I don’t know what to tell you. The fact is, had Kylie Jenner been born into a family in Topeka, Kansas, she’d still look like this, and she definitely wouldn’t be worth $1 billion.
I’M NOT HATING! She has certainly hustled and obviously made the most of her situation, so good for her. I’m not mad at it.
But to say it’s self-made? It’s not.
