Dave Chappelle’s Comedy Specials Hit Netflix, But Some Of His Fans Are Turning On Him Because Of His #NoFilter

After years of waiting, Dave Chappelle has officially returned to the stand-up game. As most of you should know, the comedian signed a reported $60 million deal with Netflix to release three comedy specials.

Two of those specials were released earlier this week, and it’s safe to say people are having mixed reactions to the content.

Some viewers were offended by a few of his jokes about the LGBTQ community, his comments on transgender issues and his view on the whole Bill Cosby is a rapist thing.

The thing is, Chappelle offends all people equally. He’s not targeting a certain group of people, he is going after the whole world. No one is safe.

And that’s exactly what his defenders are saying on Twitter…

There will always be this battle between people. Some people believe there are lines you should never cross in comedy, and some people believe lines don’t belong on the comedy stage.

One thing is for sure, Chappelle does not give a single f**k. He’s not trying to be likable or please everyone. You can’t try to please everyone as a comedian. If you do, your material will suffer.

We can talk about this stuff and debate it all we want, but it’s not going to have any impact on Chappelle.
