Dick Van Dyke Married. Arlene Silver Proves that Time Spent With an Old Dick Pays Off!
Back in January we talked about Ol’ Tricky Dicky getting in engaged to Arlene Silver and it appears that the wedding has official happened. She is now Arlene Van Dyke!
They tied the knot on leap day, Feb. 29th. In the video clip below, he says it was a spur of the moment thing.
“Kinda on the spur of the moment, we just decided Leap Day would be the best time to do it.”
He also elaborates how he met Arlene when she did his make for a show that he was filming. My original speculation from her IMDB page was right.
With Dick being worth an estimated $30 Million, I’m sure Arlene rushed him into marriage. An engagement ring doesn’t entitle you to an estate, but a marriage license does. Now she can relax. All the days she spent with the shriveled up Dick has instantly been allowed her to never work another day in her life! Why don’t I believe in love? Because Dick is 86 and Arlene is 40. Very smart on her part; at the worse he lives to 100 years old. She lives with him for 14 years and then cashes in. How much is Betty White worth?
