Glee’s Amber Riley Faints on the Red Carpet during a Screening of Glee!
The 26 year old Amber Riley was on the red carpet at the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences building. Just when she was about to enter, she hit the carpet literally. The actress fainted.
After the incident she was quick on twitter to calm all her worried fans down.
‘Hey guys, I’m okay 🙂 I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! You’d think I’s be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes (sic).’
She then thanked te photographers for not taking any photos of her laid out.
‘I’d also like to thank the photographers for being do professional and not taking photos of me on the ground. I truly truly appreciate it. Could have been super embarrassing.’
Now I know they are out there. There is no way that these guys didn’t snap a picture of her big a$$ sprawled out on the carpet. Come on. They get a picture of just about anyone doing anything and you faint, on the red carpet and no one has picture?
To her credit, she pulled herself together and took care of business. She entered the building and took part in the scheduled panel discussion.
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
No pun intended but everyone is wondering if her size and weight had anything to do with her fainting. Maybe maybe not but it certainly didn’t help. She has always claimed to be happy with her size, but just like the million other people who have said that out of weakness, she is now getting in shape. She still states that she has
“always been comfortable with [her] size,” but she “just decided it was time to get healthy.”
If that’s her story great, but the good part is she is getting healthy – which means that she acknowledges that she wasn’t healthy before. Let’s hope her journey continues and this is the last we see of her literally on the red carpet.
