Dennis Hopper’s Son Accused of Rape!
Dennis Hopper’s son is in some pretty big trouble. He’s accused of drugging up a teen and then raping her. These are not light allegations! TMZ broke the story yesterday.
Henry Hopper is an actor in his own rights, although not nearly as big as his father. At age 14 he started taking acting classes and debuted in a film Kiss & Tell where he played three different characters and he secured the lead in 2011’s Restless. Now he’s playing a another lead role in a story that is not going to end well. The alleged victim is only 16, (15 at the time of the incident) and her identity is being withheld, but her mom came forward and filed the lawsuit.
The suit itself filed under Jan Doe says that the young Hopper met the even younger girl through and acquaintance and kept in contact on facebook. Henry basically invited her over to his home in Venice, Ca. “multiple” times for drinks and some drugs. This happened for nearly a year starting in April 2011 and ending February of this year.
TVST => At this point, I’m thinking a 16 year old girl who is woooed by Hopper and impressed with his house and father would be basically willing to let him smash right? Wrong. Not that it was innocent before, but it gets bad. Really bad.
The documents state that once the girl was intoxicated Hopper would engage in sexually offensive conduct with her including intercourse, forced oral copulation and sodomy. (Yeah – I was cringing too when I wrote that. )
The girl’s mom is saying that the she is suffering significant injuries to her emotional health and is basically undergoing counseling. In the law suit it specifically states:
“the minor was hurt and injured in her mental health, sustaining shock and injury to her nervous system, all of which caused her great mental and nervous strain, pain, suffering and emotional distress,”
She’s suing for unspecified damages, so far no criminal charges have been made.
This is twofold disturbing. One because no criminal charges have been filed and 2 it was probably somewhat consensual at some point because it went on for almost 1 year. I would have his ass thrown under the jail if that was my daughter, and the only way to do that is through criminal charges. It appears that the young Hopper is following in his late father’s footsteps. Dennis Hopper was married 5 times and was infamous for woman troubles, although I don’t think any of them involved raping a 15 year old. So far there has been no statement yet from Henry Hopper or is rep.
