Ochocinco Arrested for Allegedly Head-Butting New Bride Evelyn Lozada
Sometime it’s good to know when to wait on a story, even for a few hours
So more has been revealed regarding Chad Ochocinco Johnson’s arrest.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Authorities say that Johnson and his new bride Evelyn Lozada were out to dinner and arguing ensued over a receipt for condoms that was found. It still isn’t totally clear who brought the condoms but most media outlets are reporting the receipt found by Lozada. When the couple pulled into their driveway the argument got heated and resulted with a Chad Ochocinco WWE head-butt to Evelyn’s forehead.
As Police Captain Dale Engle described the results of said butt,
“She has a pretty good-sized laceration on her forehead,”
THE HONEYMOON IS OVER
Evelyn was hospitalized and treated for her injuries and Johnson was arrested and spent the night in jail. He met with a judge this morning at 8:30 AM and was released on $2500 bond.
Johnson just signed a contract with the Dolphins and was already being perceived as a possible team distraction before his arrest. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus had no comments and Harvey Greene, spokesman for the Dolphins issued the standard team response,
“We are aware of the situation and in the process of gathering all of the relevant information.”
After an uneventful season with the Patriots resulting in a career low of 15 catches Chad Johnson was released after the team failed to find a trade for him. The Dolphins snapped him up. Let’s hope they are not regretting their decision already.
