Only 50 Fans Turn out a Kim Kardashian Appearance – Club Owner Disputes Report
Ms. Kardashian had a little slice of humble pie this week. She was in North Carolina to make an appearance at the newest, Charlotte “hot spot”- CLUB HUSH!!
Kim didn’t come alone, she brought additional star power: Jonathan Cheban, and designer Rachel Roy. Let’s face it, this was the after-party for the Democratic National Convention, which was being held in town at the Time Warner Cable Arena. This has the makings of a really good time.
Obama was going to light the crowd up and then everyone would rush over to club Hush to meet Kim Kardashian and party the night away. HOW EXCITING!!!
The club owner of Hush reportedly charted a private Jet to pick up Kim and her entourage. She excitedly tweeted a picture of her and her crew eating Wendy’s, “Private Jet Style”.
To the owners dismay, Kim Kardashian was not a draw for the politically astute crowd. Had this been the VMA’s, he might have got his money’s worth. Reports have it that an estimated 50 people showed up.

Kim then tweeted a pick of her half empty drink glass, and after a private jet, a chunky appearance fee, and assuming free drinks – two hours and she was gone.
Sources say that the house band made a reference that “this place is empty” which upset Kim and she bounced.
The Club Owner, Marc Hubbard, in an attempt to salvage his and the clubs reputation said that his club was not new, but relocated, and that the event was not a bust.
He also said that he is a friend of Kanye’s and Kim did the appearance as a favor (Saving him a possible $100K in an appearance fee). He did however, confirm that he paid the $15,000 for the private jet . Hubbard told website, the improper.com,

I’m calling bullsh*t. 50 – 250, is there really a difference when we are filling up a club? Kim’s tweet and the house bands assessment basically paint the picture. Despite flying in Kim Kardashian, and having the biggest event of the year happening across town, you manage to get only 250 people. As far as it being a private event – then why bother bringing in Kim. I could get 250 people anywhere if I let them in free. I don’t need a reality TV star. Better luck next time Marc.
