Trey Songz Arrested for Assault? The Accuser Should be ashamed of Herself.

Don’t get it twisted. This assault isn’t like a Chris Brown-Rihanna assault, this is like an, “Oops, I’m sorry” assault, if that. Trey Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson was actually arrested.

The incident happened back on the 22nd of August but the details are just now getting released. Songz was at a “gentleman’s club” in Queens, NY celebrating his album release for his new CD. It’s not clear if he was making it rain, or threw money at the woman in disgust, but he threw money that caused her injury.

For those who don’t know, that means throwing money in the air and letting it rain down everywhere .
As the money fell, one of the dollars struck a woman in the corner of her eye. That was the assault.

The official complaint states,

‘Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant’s left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye,’

Songz was arrested a month later and finally went to court in November. He will be back again in February. Hopefully the judge throws this bogus suit out and charges the lady with the court fees.
