Phaedra Parks Gets New Show
The star of Real Housewives of Atlanta has apparently made quite the splash in reality TV land because she has landed her own show! Bravo announced that the new show will be titled, “Rich People’s Problems’ and it will center on Parks’ legal career. The show is just 1 of 17 new unscripted shows the network will be working on in the upcoming months. Bravo said of the show in their official statement,
“When the rich and famous have a dispute, they know that only one lawyer will deliver some cold, hard justice: Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Whether it’s friends battling over an $8,000 loan or accusations of stolen Chanel handbags or confusion over a prenuptial agreement and whether it entitles you to two or three live-in staff members, the rich have an odd sense of what qualifies it as a problem in today’s world. Phaedra will be there to help them sort it all out.”
Is it just me, or did anyone else feel disappointed after reading that description of the show? Upon first hearing the news, I was actually willing to give the show a shot, but Bravo is not doing a good job on selling me on it. It’d be like if I was trying to describe the movie, “E.T.” to someone and simply said, “It’s about this weird looking dude with a bike.”
Doesn’t sound too exciting, huh?
