LL Cool J Standing Behind “Accidental Racist” Song
Yesterday we told you about the horrible new song LL Cool J did with Brad Paisely. The one that is not supposed to be racist, but kind of still is? Well, LL Cool J is firing back against all the criticism and negative feedback the song has received. He told CNN,
“Music is about, and art is about, connecting different people and building bridges and breaking the rules. If it’s not compelling and it’s not complex and it’s not interesting, then what are we doing? So I think that’s the right move. It’s kind of like when your child does something bad in school and you don’t want to believe it, so you starting making excuses for them. But eventually you realize that your kid is just a spoiled brat and needs a timeout in the corner. That is what this song needs, a long timeout in the corner.
