LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian to Star in New Reality Show?

Oh, no! It looks like another “semi-reality series” is coming on television. LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian will apparently be starring in a “semi-reality” show similar to the one Farrah Abraham will be filming. Like Farrah’s reality show, it does not have a working title or even a network that has agreed to air the project. However, Rimes is very excited about the opportunity and she spoke with People magazine about the show…

“We’ll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us, we want them to laugh with us! For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don’t actually know about them. What they read is what they see. We want to be able to take control of our lives again so we want to do a show about us, about our lives, but scripted.”

I just have one question, why? Reality shows for couples are never a good idea! Look at what happened to Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Kate and Jon and Sammi and Ron! Although, Sammi and Ron are technically still together, but we all know they shouldn’t be. Anyway, I don’t see this show ever becoming a hit because I don’t really think that many people are interested in the life of LeAnn Rimes.
