Glee’s Cory Monteith Found Dead In Hotel Room

We’re sure you all heard the shocking news this weekend. Cory Monteith, one of the stars of the hit show ‘Glee’ passed away Saturday morning in Vancouver, Canada.

The 31-year-old actor was staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and was supposed to check out at noon on Saturday. However, he missed his check out time, so hotel staff went to his hotel room to check on him. When they arrived in the room, they found Cory’s body and immediately called for help. According to the first responders, the actor looked like he had been dead for several hours.

He had been staying at the hotel since the 6th of July and the night before his death, he was reportedly out with his friends. It is believed he came back to the hotel alone. Police found no evidence supporting any kind of foul play. An autopsy is supposed to be completed sometime later today.

No one knows for sure how he died, but many people suspect he died of a drug overdose. Cory had always been very open about his past struggles with drugs. He became addicted to drugs when he was just a teenager and had his first stay in rehab when he was just 19-years-old. It’s safe to say that he had a very rough childhood, but he appeared to have his life back on track.

He was the star of one of the biggest shows on TV and he was dating his beautiful co-star, Lea Michele. However, it appears that Cory might have really beem struggling with his drug addiction recently. You may remember that he actually checked himself into rehab back in April of this year.

Everyone in Hollywood seemed shock by the news of his death. A lot of stars took to Twitter to share their thoughts and memories of the young star. Everyone seemed to take news of his death very hard, but no one took it quite as hard as Lea Michele. She reportedly started shaking when she heard the news, “She’s devastated” a source said.
