Amanda Bynes’ Conservatorship Ruling Delayed
We told you last week that Amanda Bynes’ parents were planning on filing for conservatorship over their troubled daughter and they did just that. However, the judge working the case has delayed ruling on the petition until August 9, the judge says there is no rush to make a decision because Bynes will be held up in the hospital for at least two more weeks.
The petition Amanda’s parents filed included information about her public displays of craziness, but they also revealed some new bits of oddness. They say Amanda has real fears that she is being watched by smoke detectors, as well as random devices in her car.
Here is a snippet from their filing,
“We are a deeply concerned that Amanda poses a substantial risk to herself, to others, and to property based on recent events in her life.”
They also stated that they believed the trouble star was homeless in California before she was placed in the hospital. She apparently left New York without telling anyone two days before the fire incident. Amanda told her parents she “cabbed” it to California, but they don’t believe her story. They claim that they’re not sure how she got to California, but they are sure that their daughter needs a lot of help.
The judge working the case says he hopes to have a one-on-one meeting with Amanda before he makes a ruling on the petition filed by her parents.
We’ll keep you updated…
