Billy Ray Cyrus On Miley’s ‘Wrecking Ball’ Music Video

We imagine that it must be kind of awkward to have to comment on a video where your little girl is swinging naked and licking a sledgehammer, but Billy Ray did just that on Entertainment Tonight.

The 52-year-old country music star spoke out about his daughter’s revealing music video during an interview with ET. And not surprisingly, he showed support for his daughter and claimed it wouldn’t have mattered what she was wearing,

“It wouldn’t have mattered if Miley would have wore jeans and flannel shirt…a Tux…or a nun’s habit. The song’s a smash and her performance vocally on the tune reflects her roots and sheer God given talent.”

It seems like Billy is missing the point. No one is hating on the song, in fact, I kind of like the song. The problem is with the obnoxious video. I would have loved it if she would have worn jeans and a flannel shirt in it! That would have made me my day, seeing Miley Cyrus in normal clothes.

Instead, she decided to try and be edgy and different again, but it just comes off as desperate. We f–king get it, Miley! You’re an adult now and you like to show off your Justin Bieber-esque body to the whole world, but do you have to do it in every video now?
