Macaulay Culkin Hops Out to Comic Con

Former child star, and current crazy recluse Macaulay Culkin was spotted at Comic Con this past weekend, hanging out with Seth Green, Breckin Meyer and Matthew Senreich at the Robot Chicken panel inside the Javits Center.

Despite how rare his public appearances are, it was not entirely surprising that Culkin showed up for the Robot Chicken expo. He has been voicing several different characters on the show since 2005, including Bastian Bux and Billy.

What was surprising was how healthy and happy Culkin appeared. There was no sign of the gaunt, disheveled alleged heroin addict and Culkin appeared almost, well…normal.

Except for the fact that he was wearing bunny ears at the time, but hey, it’s Comic Con.

Culkin played it up for the crowd during the panel, even licking Seth Green’s face at one point. When asked by an audience member where he’s been since 2004, Culkin good-naturedly responded “hiding under a rock somewhere.”

In reality, aside from a short piece called The Wrong Ferrari, filmed entirely on an iPhone, Culkin appears to not want much to do with the movie business. Lately, he’s been focusing on his artwork instead and has been featured in several art exhibits in New York.
