Who Is The Highest Paid Actor In Television?

Forbes magazine just released their highest paid TV actors list and you might be surprise to see who is at the top of the list.

Ashton Kutcher hit the number one spot by earning almost $24 million in just this past year alone. Ashton is the star of Two and a Half Men and they are obviously paying him a lot of money.

It’s somewhat surprising when you consider just how far the show has fallen since he replaced Charlie Sheen. However, while the ratings for the show do continue to fall, it’s still one of the highest rated comedies on television. The show is also in syndication, so it’s safe to say that it’s still making CBS a lot of money.

Even more evidence of that is the fact that Ashton Kutcher’s co-star Jon Cryer is second on the list with $21 million.

And get this, Ray Romano is third on the list with $16 million! Even though Everybody Loves Raymond ended awhile back, he’s still earning royalties from the popular series. He also guest stars on Parenthood, which earns him a little bit of extra cash.

Neil Patrick Harris and Mark Harmon are tied in 4th place with $15 million, which means CBS has the top four highest paid actors in the business right now. We guess they don’t call it, “America’s Most Watched Network” for nothing!

I really hate writing about lists like this because all it does is make me depressed. It just makes me think about all of the money I don’t have.

I suppose I should use this as motivation, but I think I will just eat a gallon of ice cream and cry in my bed instead.
