When Will Chris Brown Get Out Of Jail? Court Hearing Scheduled For Today
Today is an important day for Chris Brown. As most of you know, the 24-year-old singer/dancer has spent the weekend in jail in downtown Los Angeles after he violated the rules and regulations of his treatment.
He was thrown out of his Malibu rehab facility where he was ordered to stay for at least another month. We’re not exactly sure why he was thrown out, but we do know he violated the rules last month by having an improper relationship with a female worker at the facility.
In any event, Chris Brown spent the weekend in jail, and he could be in there for a lot longer. The singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, will attend a court hearing today to convince the judge working the case to release Brown from jail. However, it might not be that simple.
[more…]This is the second rehab facility that has kicked Brown out, so it’s unlikely the judge will just order Brown to enter a new one. Geragos will always try to get house arrest for his client until the D.C. trial next month, but that also appears unlikely. If the judge is in a bad mood today, Brown could be spending at least month behind bars.
Several news organizations have reached out to Brown’s lawyer, but he has not responded to any phone calls or emails. The prosecutors are also staying quiet. They have not said what action they are planning to take during today’s hearing.
All we can do is wait, folks. We’re sure he’ll get out of this somehow. He always does.
