Jamie Foxx And His Daughter Announce They’ll Be Hosting Brand New Game Show
It looks like Jamie Foxx truly is on the mend. You’ll remember one month ago, he was rushed to the hospital while filming a movie in Atlanta. His family asked for prayers and everyone thought the situation was pretty serious. Then, in the weeks that followed, misinformation was spread.
A still unknown source spread gossip around that Foxx was still in the hospital three weeks after the incident and his family was asking everyone for more prayers.
Shortly after that report was spread, Foxx’s daughter Corinne jumped on her Instagram to set the record straight. She said her dad was released from the hospital over two weeks ago and was feeling much better. In fact, she claims he was playing pickleball just the other day.
And now to really prove that things are okay, Jamie and Corinne released a joint statement to the media, announcing plans for their brand new game show, We Are Family.
We are thrilled to be developing ‘We Are Family’ with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment. We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year.
The show is sorta similar to The Masked Singer, in that a mystery celebrity will be singing. But instead of being in a mask, they’ll simply be hidden, and they won’t be performing by themselves. They’ll be performing duets with their non-famous relatives.
The 100 contestants will compete to win up to $100,000 by correctly guessing who the other mysterious celebrities are.
…sounds interesting? I suppose. Okay, no, it sounds dumb as hell, but we’re just happy Jamie is doing better, so we’re going to pretend this show sounds dope.
