Taylor Swift Gives Her ‘Eras Tour’ Truck Drivers A Huge $100,000 Bonus For Their Hard Work
The end of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ is coming to a close. Well, at least the United States leg of the tour. She’ll put a stamp on the United States leg next week when she plays a series of shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. After that, she’ll head to Mexico.
But before packing up her US gear, Swift made sure to treat her employees right. According to TMZ sources, the 33-year-old star gifted all her truck drivers a $100,000 bonus!
We’re told the folks getting the money are production truck drivers who have been hauling Taylor’s equipment for The Eras Tour … there are around 50 truckers for her U.S. tour, which means Taylor just shelled out about $5 million.
Damn. Imagine having a tour so big you need 50 truckers for it.
Anyway, she reportedly handed out the checks before her concert in Santa Clara on Saturday. And it was’t just the truckers who received bonuses.
Sources also say she gave her dancers, band members, lighting/sound techs, and caterers bonuses. We’re not sure how much she gave them, but we’re sure it was a pretty penny.
And it only seems right. After all, in the US alone, the tour has already brought in $1 billion in sales. Experts believe once the dust settles, it could go down as the highest-grossing tour of all time.
If you’re wondering, T-Swift has a net worth of around $750 million, so you know, these bonuses are pocket change to her… but still, it’s a nice thing to do. So props to her.
