Jada Pinkett Smith Says She And Will Smith Have Secretly Been Separated For Years!

Remember when Will Smith turned into The Hulk and slapped the heck out of Chris Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith during the Oscars? And remember how Will yelled, “KEEP MY WIFE’S NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH!” repeatedly?

Well, the whole debacle makes even less sense now because Jada ain’t even his wife! I mean, I guess technically they’re married on paper, but in a shocking new interview with People, Jada revealed she and Will have been separated for seven years now.

We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us. We live separately.

She also revealed that when Smith jumped on stage at the Oscars to slap Rock, she believed it was a skit, but when she saw the look of anger on Will’s face as he returned to his seat, she realized it was most certainly not a skit.

“Are you OK?” she remembers asking him once they had a moment by themselves. “I’m going to be by his side, but also allow him to have to figure this out for himself,” she added.

They have to be one of the strangest “couples” in Hollywood. It’s wild that they just won’t get a divorce. You’ll remember a few years back, Will admitted they had an open marriage, but now we’re even confused by that, because… what? Is it considered an open marriage if you’re separated?

I don’t know, man. They’re confusing as hell. There’s some toxicity there.
