Tiffany Haddish’s Friends Are Worried About Her After DUI Arrest In Beverly Hills
The day after Thanksgiving, comedian/actress Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Beverly Hills just before six in the morning after police received a call of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road.
When officers arrived, they found Haddish asleep at the wheel. She was hunched over the car wheel as the engine was still running. She was arrested and transported to jail, where she spent several hours before being released much later in the day.
Sadly, this isn’t her first DUI arrest. In January 2022, she was arrested for essentially the same thing, only that time it was in Georgia.
One day after her arrest on Friday, the 43-year-old star was back on stage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach. She joked about her arrest, saying, “I prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in a uniform. God answered my prayers.”
And while she was able to laugh about it during her performance, some of her friends believe she’s really struggling behind-the-scenes.
An insider told PageSix:
Tiffany likes to drink and have a good time, but her friends are noticing that she is drinking way more around the holidays. We think that she may be lonely and hiding behind a fake smile. She has always spoken about her hardships about being broke, homeless and living in her car. But now that she has found the success she has always dreamed of, new demons are coming to the surface in the form of alcohol.
Hopefully these supposed friends of hers are actually talking to her about their worries, and not just selling headlines to the gossip magazines.
