Ben Affleck Gives Rare Comments On His Marriage To Jennifer Lopez, Marvels At Just How Famous She Is

During the season four premiere of Kevin Hart’sHart to Heart‘ talk show, Ben Affleck was the surprise guest. He’s been in the headlines a lot recently, mostly because of the divorce rumors between him and Jennifer Lopez.

So the producers of Kevin Hart’s show decided to take advantage of this by placing him in the premiere episode. We’re not sure when this interview was filmed, but it was likely shot a couple months before the divorce rumors started rumbling.

In the interview, Affleck admitted it’s been an adjustment living and enjoying life with Lopez. Not because of anything household related, but because of the insane amount of attention she receives from her fans and the media. She has a “f**king bananas level of fame,” Affleck revealed.

We went somewhere with [Jennifer]—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this—people love her, and she really represents something important to people. [To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AAAHHHH! J-LO!’ It’s amazing, you know what I mean?

He then remembered one incident in particular. They were in New York City, on their way to a play with their kids, but they were running late, and traffic was insane, so they decided to exit the vehicle and walk down the street.

We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, ‘F—k it, babe, we’re going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half.’ [Lopez] was like, ‘Alright,’ she didn’t say s—t.’ We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s—t was like f—n’ bananas.’ There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit—she’s a heavy lady—and she starts running backwards filming, going ‘J-LO!!’

Yeah, that’s pretty crazy. All that fame she has and she still wasn’t able to sell enough tickets to her world tour. It really seems like people are more interested in Lopez’s personal life than her career.
