Sharon Osbourne Admits She Tried To Kill Herself After Learning Of Ozzy’s Extramarital Affair
On Sunday, during her “Cut the Crap” show in London, Sharon Osbourne effectively cut the crap and opened up about a rather difficult time in her life.
She told the audience that years ago, when she learned that her husband Ozzy Osbourne was having an affair, she tried to kill herself by downing a bunch of pills.
He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that. But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work … it is a whole different thing, as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.
Sharon admits she did think about her kids before taking the pills, but thought they were old enough to properly take care of themselves. “So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she revealed.
Thankfully, the maid tried to come in the room and saw Sharon. She didn’t really reveal what happened after that, but we can assume the maid got her some medical attention and potentially saved her life.
This likely happened sometime in 2016, when it was revealed Ozzy had a four-year affair with his hairstylist, which is pretty damn crazy because it doesn’t even seem like he’s mentally or physically capable of wiping his own ass.
He later checked into rehab for sex addiction. He and Sharon decided to work things out, renewing their vows on Mother’s Day in 2017.
