Simon Cowell Teams up With Jada Pinkett-Smith to Find the Greatest DJ in The World!
Cowell’s hustle game is on high. He is now launching a show to find the World’s Greatest DJ.
Say Whuuuttt???
To make matters….worse, he’s teaming up with Jada Pinkett-Smith to do it? Both Cowell’s and Jada and Will Smith’s Entertainment companies will be co-producing the show.
When asked why DJ’ing, Cowell says, it’s the future,
‘DJ’s are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show
The reason we like Simon Cowell’s productions is because of Simon, but he will not be a judge. I learned this via twitter…..he tweeted,
‘Excited to announce new DJ show. I will NOT be judging this show,’ he tweeted on Wednesday. ‘Excited to be working with @jadapsmith. Stay tuned!’
After X-factor failed to break into the “20 million viewers” ranking, Simon admitted that he was humbled by what he considers a personal let down. He told the Sun,
‘I got a bit too cocky. We got a big wake-up call’
Now if you are thinking, “all they need to do, is have some good guest judges and it can be a great show”…maybe. Many times it’s the producers who make all the calls, including who stays and who goes. We see, what the producers want us to see. It would be reassuring if Cowell hooked up with Funk Master Flex to produce and create the show. That would be exciting – then to have Flex Judge in the Flex voice….That’s a hit. Cowell and Jada Pinkett Smith, that’s just scary, and risky. I wonder what network will pick that up, I’m guessing BET or MTV2……I’m just sayin…..
