Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Husband Never Told her That her Leg Had Been Amputated

How horrible is this?  Last year Zsa Zsa Gabor had a 12 inch long lesion in her leg that got infected.  As a cause she had to have her right leg amputated just above the knee.  Her husband, the so called Prince Frederic Von Anhalt says that he never told her about the surgery!

Gabor who is now 95 years old made the discovery on her own.  Frederic told the NY Post, exactly how it happened,

 “She found out about it when she told me to sit her up, and she saw it. She couldn’t feel it because [one] hand is paralyzed and [one] hand was too short to go on it . . . Finally, a half-year later she said, ‘There is something missing.’

Frederic, who’s antics have been fodder for news sites and gossip columnists for years, admits that he keeps other secrets from his wife Zsa Zsa<

“She doesn’t even know she gets food through the tube. It will only upset her. She was so glamorous always, and she is so vain.” He also admits of the death of her friend Phyllis Diller last month. “I didn’t tell her . . . I don’t want to give bad news to my wife.”

Gabor is the seventh marriage for Frederic.  Before he met her he was a blue collar man taking jobs as a bank teller, screenwriter and sauna manager.  He said he became a prince after he was adopted by a German Princess.

Von Anhalt has been accused recently by Gabor’s daughter of unnecessarily sedating and  isolating Zsa Zsa from her friends and family even at her own birthday party.  At first read, I thought hiding information from Gabor was inappropriate, but at age 95, and with failing health, I might actually agree with Von Anhalt’s approach.  No need to kick a poor girl when she’s down.  (No Pun Intended).
