Madonna Gets Some Heat as she Pulls Out a Fake Gun During Her Colorado Concert

Madonna’s MDNA tour continues to make headlines – the only problem is, there are as many good headlines as there are bad. The latest one is of the bad nature, as in bad judgment or no judgment at all.

During one of her songs, “Gang Bang” Madonna whips out a gun during what appears to be an elaborately choreographed number.  The problem was – she was in Colorado.

Remember the Dark Knight Rises Shooting? In a theater? In an Audience of spectators?  Remember that?  Apparently Madonna didn’t or she didn’t care.

NBC said they received at least 20 calls complaining about the insensitive imagery used

This wasn’t the first time that Madonna received criticism for this violent imagery.  Before the Colorado show she commented on the skit and the use of the fake firearm.

“I do not condone violence or the use of guns … rather they are symbols of wanting to appear strong and wanting to find a way to stop feelings that I find hurtful or damaging.”

Huh?

To make matter worse, similar to her opening concert in Phili, Madonna started nearly 3 hours late.  Madonna has no opening act, just a DJ spinning records which gets more annoying by the minute after the first hour unless you are bumping and grinding in a club.  Sitting in your chair tapping your feet for 3 hours after spending $150 on a ticket is enough for anyone to stop being a fan.
